    17. 06. 2019

Lawyer Mgr. Adam Felix, LL.M. stook part in a business mission conducted by the „Czech Chamber of Commerce“ to Slovenia as a member of a 16-member delegation. The trip was led by Czech Chamber of Commerce President Vladimír Dlouhý, and also included the Czech Minister of Transportation Vladimír Kremlík. This two-day journey was part of the Three Seas Initiative and its goal was to participate in a business forum organized by the government of Slovenia, The Center for European Perspective and the Slovene Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The business forum was attended by representatives from the private sector as well as the governments of the Three Seas Initiative. The Three Sea Initiative is formed by 12 member states between the Baltic, Adriatic and Black seas: Besides the Czech Republic, the initiative includes Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, Austria, Croatia, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Bulgaria, and Romania. Together, these countries have 112 million citizens. Mgr. Felix participated in the opening presidential panel, which included the Czech President Miloš Zeman, the business forum which followed and the official dinner. The next day, he had the opportunity to meet Slovene representatives during B2B meetings on individual panels, which dealt with themes such as transportation, innovation and digitalization, but also the broader themes of transatlantic relations, safety, and water usage. The program also dealt with the water corridor between the rivers Danube, Oder and Elbe.

"I consider the Three Seas Initiative to be an important project, which extends beyond the scope of the V4 regions and will be key for the development of the infrastructure and economy of the Czech Republic. Felix a spol. provides continuous legal support to the organizations doing business within this international collaboration and beyond." - Adam Felix
