On May 18th, 2026, we attended the presentation ceremony of the Olga Havel Award, held this year at the UMPRUM Technology Center in Prague.

Olga Havel Award 2026

Attorneys and partners JUDr. Jana Felixová and Mgr. Eva Veselá represented Felix a spol. at this event.

This year’s gala once again introduced inspiring stories of individuals who, despite physical or mental challenges, help others.

Marie Svobodová, who has been working for many years with the association Sdružení Neratov, z. s., assisting people with health and social disadvantages, became the recipient of the 2026 Olga Havel Award. She herself lives with a serious illness yet helps others with extraordinary energy, empathy, and dedication, often beyond the scope of her professional duties.

The Public Choice Award was presented to Jiří Čeloud, who lives with partial quadriplegia following a spinal cord injury. He leads an active life, shares his experiences through lectures at schools, spinal cord injury units, and general public events, and, as an independent living instructor at the Paraple Center, helps people like himself manage everyday life and regain confidence and independence.

A short video about Olga Havel recalled her life in commemoration of 30 years since her passing this year.

The evening was filled with powerful stories, gratitude, and a sense of solidarity, as well as thanks given to donors, volunteers, and partners who carry forward Olga Havel’s legacy: helping those who need it most.

Our law firm has long supported the Olga Havel Foundation’s Committee of Good Will as part of its Pro Bono activities.
