Legalink Academy 2025 – Young Lawyers Meet in Milan

On the third weekend in June, 2025, the city of Milan, Italy, saw an international meeting of young lawyers from Legalink member offices. This year, legal assistant Bohumil Sigmund represented the Felix a spol. law firm at the conference.

The Legalink Academy is traditionally designed for lawyers at the beginning of their professional careers. It offers them not only valuable information, but also a space to make international contacts in a friendly and inspiring environment. This year’s host office was the renowned Milan-based firm Cocuzza, which prepared a rich three-day program combining lectures by experts with informal networking activities.

“I was particularly interested in the lectures focused on personal development and career building. Meeting much more experienced delegates was extremely inspiring for me,” reported Bohumil, summing up his impressions.

The program included, among other things, lectures on topics such as strategies for gaining experience in an established law firm, collaboration between in-house lawyers and external legal advisors and long-term professional growth. Alessandro Barzagi, partner at Cocuzza, and Christopher Trowbridge, chairman of the Legalink network, gave inspiring presentations in which they shared their career experiences and practical advice for young lawyers.
