On November 20th 2025, Felix a spol. acted as partner to the Legislative Forum of the Czech Association of HR Professionals. This year’s edition was devoted to the “flexi amendment” of the Labor and Employment Code, and therefore one of the leading experts in labor law – doc. JUDr. Jakub Morávek, Ph.D. – could not be absent among the speakers.
The forum’s program launched a discussion among lawyers, HR professionals, and employers about how this amendment to the Labor and Employment Code functions in practice – what true benefits it has had, where it encounters limits, and which questions remain unresolved. Other parts of the event were devoted to the everyday practice of whistleblowing in companies, the grey zone of intermediary agencies, and the topic of equal remuneration. There was also a presentation concerning the scheduled transposition of European directives into the Czech legal environment.
In his contribution, partner of Felix a spol., doc. JUDr. Jakub Morávek, Ph.D., presented recent case law of the Supreme Court relating to the latest changes to the Labor and Employment Code and pointed out its practical impacts on employers.
