In the 2015/2016 Spring semester, Felix and Co. became patron and partner to the historically first moot court of criminal law in the Czech Republic, which was organized by the Všehrd´ Association of Czech Lawyers (Spolek českých právníků Všehrd) in collaboration with the department of criminal law at Charles University´s School of Law.
Three student teams have participated in the court simulation and their performance was judged by a simulated court bench, with, among others, our own Mgr. Klára Grmelová on it.
The moot court is a specific kind of competition focusing on various aspects of law, held by numerous law schools both in-country and abroad. Until now, the Czech Republic has only seen them organized around private law. Now, students have a unique opportunity to deepen their knowledge and perfect their argumentation skills in the area of criminal law.
