Platform work raises questions about employment-law issues to which existing legal frameworks do not provide clear-cut answers. Who qualifies as an employee and who as an independent contractor? And what risks and benefits are associated with platform-based work?
These questions are addressed by attorney and partner at Felix a spol., doc. JUDr. Jakub Morávek, Ph.D., in an interview for the professional magazine Právní prostor, where he responds to five key questions concerning the working conditions of platform workers.
The interview was conducted ahead of his forthcoming presentation at this year’s Právní prostor congress, where he will examine these topics in greater detail.
