At the end of May and beginning of June 2017, representatives of our office took part in several events hosted by non-profit organizations, whose projects are supported by AK Felix a spol. as part of its pro bono activities.
On May 29th, JUDr. Antonín Novák and JUDr. Ivan Roubal attended the Olga Havlová Award ceremony organized by the Olga Havlová Committee of Good Will at the Černín Palace. The 2017 award went to Naděžda Nováková, head of ROSKA in Ostrava. Thus, two of our supported projects coalesced that evening, since we have been donating to the Prague regional branch of the society for support for people with multiple sclerosis for over a decade.
On Tuesday, May 30th, the Gratias Tibi 2017 award ceremony took place at Lucerna. Mgr. Jaroslav Tajbr and his wife Marika represented our firm at this fourth annual event hosted by People in Need. The award recognizes socially beneficial projects by young people from the age of 6 to 30 years old. This year, the award went to Chlapci z Těrlicka (Boys from the Těrlice Region) in the elementary school category, to the Revoluce na střední (High School Revolution) project in the high school category, and to ZVOL SI INFO (CHOOSE YOUR INFO) in the adult category.
People in Need celebrated its 25-year anniversary this June and we can proudly say that Felix a spol. has supported its humanitarian and global efforts for much of its history. JUDr. Tomáš Homola and his wife Hana took part in the anniversary celebration on June 8th at the Prague Crossroads. We wish everyone working for People in Need much success and energy for future projects!
