This year’s conferences of the Legalink network were held in Madrid in May and in New Delhi, India, in November. Our office was represented by Mgr. Eva Veselá and JUDr. Jana Felixová, who chaired the labor and employment law section at both conferences. Topics of the section included whistleblowing, legal status of professional athletes or the new workplace phenomenon known as BYOD (Bring Your Own Device).
NOMOS Lawyers International organizes two meetings every year – the general meeting in the spring and a workshop in the autumn (this year, these were held in Warsaw and in the Hague respectively). Our Polish-speaking colleague, JUDr. Ivan Roubal, represented our office in Warsaw, while both events were attended by JUDr. Jana Felixová, a member of the Steering Board of the Association.
To mark ten years of its existence, INBLF organized a conference in Washington, D.C., from October 9 to 12, 2014. The highlight of the conference was the gala dinner held in the building of the US Supreme Court. The regular INBLF European Summit was held in April 2014 in Zermatt, Switzerland. Mgr. Tomáš Pekárek represented the office at both events..
Felix a spol. has successfully played the international-cooperation card for a number of years, and is thus able to refer and receive cross-border cases under very competitive terms.
