This year, Felix a spol. has been the law partner of the Retail Summit – the biggest retail conference in the Czech Republic. Our law firm presented its legal and GDPR services to over a thousand of visitors who stopped by our stall. Our firm was represented by JUDr. Jana Felixová, JUDr. Roman Felix, Mgr. Eva Veselá a JUDr. Jakub Morávek, Ph.D.,the latter of whom participated in a panel dealing with “Personalization vs. Personal Data Protection” with a contribution on “The real face of the general data protection regulation in relation to marketing.”
The Retail Summit is a representative forum of traders, providers, government representatives, and other experts, which facilitates the exchange of opinions and experiences on an expert level. The conference allowed for discussion of current issues concerning the Czech market and its development. The main theme of this year´s Retail Summit was looking for balance within the new market, which was reflected in the overall structure of the conference. The high-point of the conference was the announcement of the fifteenth annual Mastercard Retailer of the Year for 2017.
