Sale of Prague’s Hotel Carol to Jan Hotels Group

The legal team of Felix a spol., led by attorney Mgr. Tomáš Pekárek acted as legal counsel to the owners of Prague’s Hotel Carol in connection with its sale to the Jan Hotels group (Bohemia Properties a.s.).
The hotel is located in a rapidly developing area of Prague near the O2 Arena. Known for its welcoming family atmosphere, the hotel had been developed and operated by private owners for nearly three decades.
The acquiring company, Bohemia Properties a.s., already owns three hotels in the Czech Republic operated under the Jan Hotels brand: Hotel Duo (4), Hotel Růže (5), and Hotel Old Inn (4)*.
The integration of Hotel Carol into the Jan Hotels group is linked to plans to expand its accommodation capacity.
